<strong>RFP</strong> APPENDIX A, SAMPLE CONTRACT<br />

STATEWIDE FINGERPRINT IMAGING SYSTEM (SFIS) TERMINAL OPERATOR SERVICES<br />

2.10 Contractor Contract Manager (CCM): The individual designated by <strong>the</strong><br />

Contractor to administer <strong>the</strong> Contract operations after <strong>the</strong> Contract award.<br />

2.11 County Contract Administrator (CCA): Person, designated by County,<br />

with responsibility to oversee <strong>the</strong> day-to-day activities of this Contract.<br />

Responsibility <strong>for</strong> inspections of any and all tasks, deliverables, goods,<br />

services, and o<strong>the</strong>r work provided by Contractor.<br />

2.12 County Contract Director: Person designated by County with authority to<br />

address Contractual or administrative matters relating to this Contract that<br />

cannot be resolved by <strong>the</strong> CCA.<br />

2.13 County Contract Program Monitor (CPM): Person designated by <strong>the</strong><br />

County, with responsibility <strong>for</strong> monitoring Contractor’s per<strong>for</strong>mance <strong>for</strong><br />

compliance and prepares monitoring reports <strong>for</strong> <strong>the</strong> Contract. The CPM<br />

reports to <strong>the</strong> CCA.<br />

2.14 Day(s): Calendar day(s) unless o<strong>the</strong>rwise specified.<br />

2.15 Department of Public Social <strong>Services</strong> (DPSS): Los Angeles County<br />

department responsible <strong>for</strong> providing social, financial, and employment<br />

services to eligible persons in Los Angeles County.<br />

2.16 Director: The Director of <strong>the</strong> DPSS, or his/her authorized representative(s).<br />

2.17 District Office: A DPSS office that houses DPSS line staff who is<br />

responsible <strong>for</strong> providing social and financial services to eligible persons<br />

within a specific geographic area within Los Angeles County.<br />

2.18 District Office Chief Clerk (DOCC): The individual designated in each<br />

district office who is responsible <strong>for</strong> <strong>the</strong> supervision and management of <strong>the</strong><br />

offices’ clerical staff.<br />

2.19 Eligibility Worker (EW): A County employee who is responsible <strong>for</strong><br />

determining eligibility of applicants/participants that are requesting public<br />

assistance benefits.<br />

2.20 <strong>Fingerprint</strong> Imaging: A computerized system that encodes, stores,<br />

searches, and matches applicants’/participants’ fingerprints.<br />

2.21 Fiscal Year: The 12 month period beginning July 1 st and ending <strong>the</strong><br />

following June 30 th .<br />

2.22 General Relief (GR) Program: A financial assistance program<br />

administered by <strong>the</strong> County <strong>for</strong> persons who are not eligible <strong>for</strong> federal or<br />

state assistance programs. The cost of this program is borne entirely by<br />
