1. The median income data for <strong>Copenhagen</strong> (DKK 226 200) is derived from Statistics Denmark and is from 2007. It<br />

corresponds to København by (municipalities of <strong>Copenhagen</strong>, Dragør, Frederiksberg and Tårnby). Statistics Denmark<br />

records median income statistics for <strong>Region</strong> <strong>Hovedstaden</strong>, København by, and Københavns omegn; it does not keep<br />

measure median income for the Municipality of <strong>Copenhagen</strong> alone. The 2007 third quarter median housing price<br />

corresponds only to the Municipality of <strong>Copenhagen</strong> (Københavns Kommune) and amounted to DKK 3 400 000<br />

(Realkreditrådet, 2008). This price corresponds to villas and terraced houses (parcelhuse and rækkehuse). The 2006<br />

average quarterly median condominium (lejligheder) price corresponds only to the Municipality of <strong>Copenhagen</strong><br />

(Københavns Kommune) and amounted to 1 772 500.<br />

2. The figures for Malmö are annual figures for 2006.<br />
