2.2.5 Policy research and analysis In line with the Strategic Plan, Stats SA established a policy research and analysis unit during 2010/11. The purpose of services for policy planners and development practitioners. This is evident by the information needs of the public, private The policy research and analysis unit is to provide well-researched, evidence-based inputs into policy processes on broad cross-cutting issues that have long-term implications for development.
