Over the medium term, research projects will be undertaken to expand the statistical information base, as well as to<br />

improve processes and methodologies. These research projects include:<br />

Conceptualising a continuous survey with a core of detailed expenditure information that will provide the necessary<br />

data for measuring living conditions and updating the CPI basket of goods and services; and<br />

Shorten the turnaround time between data collection and release of the results.<br />
