Information capital: Stats SA has over time become a knowledge-based driven organisation. Its core business is about data<br />
and information within a highly technological environment. Technology is a strategic enabler in the statistical environment<br />

The ICT strategy aims to ensure that ICT becomes a strategic enabler in the production and management of statistical<br />
information. It addresses weaknesses in the current environment, but also provides for a stable, secure and reliable<br />
environment that keeps up with fast-changing technological developments.<br />
