the follow<strong>in</strong>g:<br />

• Hepatitis A Booster<br />

• Psychological Questionnaire<br />

• Medical Questionnaire<br />

• Medical Threat Brief<strong>in</strong>g<br />

• Psychological Brief<strong>in</strong>g<br />

• Blood Samples<br />

• Medical Threat Fact Sheet.<br />

The blood samples were obta<strong>in</strong>ed and then shipped to<br />

Rockville, Maryland, where they rema<strong>in</strong> frozen <strong>in</strong> a vault,<br />

readily available for exam<strong>in</strong>ation if a soldier is afflicted with<br />

some disease <strong>in</strong> the future that he feels may be l<strong>in</strong>ked to his<br />

deployment <strong>in</strong> Operation JOINT ENDEAVOR.<br />

In addition, professional medical and psychiatric staff<br />

were available to review the medical and psychiatric<br />

questionnaires to determ<strong>in</strong>e if any soldiers needed<br />

immediate <strong>in</strong>tervention or <strong>in</strong>tervention once he/she<br />

returned to their home station.<br />

Shortly after the start of the JEMS program, it was<br />

determ<strong>in</strong>ed that all return<strong>in</strong>g soldiers would have a rout<strong>in</strong>e<br />

dental exam<strong>in</strong>ation <strong>in</strong> conjunction with their JEMS. This<br />

additional task<strong>in</strong>g was given to the dental facility of the<br />

67th CSH, further impact<strong>in</strong>g on our staff<strong>in</strong>g situation.<br />

The deployment of the 67th CSH to Operation JOINT<br />

ENDEAVOR was an extremely successful deployment.<br />

Fortunately, casualties and <strong>in</strong>juries were low. From<br />

December 1995 to March 1997, the CSH conducted the<br />

follow<strong>in</strong>g medical activities:<br />

• Treated 801 In-patients<br />
