The following personnel and unit numbering system has been adopted by the College Station Fire<br />

Department. The numbering system will allow for our units to be compatible with other units in Brazos<br />

County.<br />

Fire Department Unit Numbering<br />

First digit = Indicates Jurisdiction<br />

Second digit = Indicates Type of Unit<br />

Third digit = Indicates Station<br />

First Digit Second Digit Third Digit<br />

0 = Chiefs/Asst<br />

1 = Precinct 1 (Wellborn) 1 = Battalion Chiefs 1 = Station 1<br />

2 = Precinct 2 (Kurten) 2 = Engines 2 = Station 2<br />

3 = Precinct 3 (Harvey) 3 = Tankers 3 = Station 3<br />

4 = Precinct 4 (Smetana) 4 = Booster/Grass 4 = Station 4<br />

5 = Trucks/Squads 5 = Station 5<br />

6 = Bryan 6 = Ambulances 6 = Station 6<br />

7 = College Station 7 = Training/Services 7 = Station 7<br />
