Class B Uniform<br />

Class B uniform for Shift Personnel through the rank of Lieutenant will be a Class C uniform<br />

with a <strong>department</strong> issued black tie.<br />

Class B uniform for Chief Officers will be a Class C uniform with a long sleeve white shirt and<br />

black tie replacing the <strong>standard</strong> work shirt, and the <strong>department</strong> issued hat.<br />

Class A Uniform<br />

(Formal Dress Uniform)<br />

Class A uniform for Lieutenants and Chief Officers will consist of the following:<br />

♦Blue dress coat<br />

♦Blue dress pants or skirt (skirts to be worn so that the bottom hem<br />

extends two inches below the knee<br />

♦Long sleeve white uniform shirt<br />

♦Blue tie<br />

♦Black or navy blue socks<br />

♦Black plain toe shoes or boots<br />

♦Department issued badge, name tag, collar insignia, and sleeve stars<br />

♦Department issued hat<br />

NOTE: When the dress uniform coat is worn it will be fully buttoned.<br />

Uniform Insignia<br />

All badges, name tags, buckles, buttons, flag pins, collar insignia, and sleeve stars will be issued<br />

by the <strong>department</strong>. Issued insignia will be gold or silver according to rank.<br />

Name Tag Placement:<br />

The name tag will be worn on the uniform at all times. The name tag will be worn on<br />

the right pocket of the uniform shirt or Class A uniform coat.<br />

Star Placement:<br />

Each Star for Class A uniform indicate five (5) year increments of service with the<br />

College Station Fire Department.<br />

Stars will be centered on the left sleeve of the Class A coat. The stars will be<br />

placed above the top braid. Multiple stars shall be centered and evenly spaced.<br />

Badge Placement:<br />

The badge will be worn at all times on the outer garment of the uniform. The badge will<br />

be worn over the left pocket as indicated by the reinforced stitched badge holder.<br />

On Class A uniforms the badge will be worn in the appropriate badge tab above the left<br />

pocket.<br />
