In cases where multiple training requests are submitted the Asst.Chief, Battalions Chief’s, and the<br />

appropriate Training Coordinator shall establish the priority order for class attendance. The<br />

following will be taken into consideration:<br />

a. Performance appraisals (one year)<br />

b. Time with the <strong>department</strong><br />

c. Previous training history of individual<br />

The appropriate Training Coordinator will be responsible for determining the allocation of funding<br />

for individual requests. This allocation will be determined only after organizational mandated<br />

training and funding have been determined.<br />

Since there are multiple classes one may take to achieve a required skill level, the <strong>department</strong> will<br />

establish an evaluation team. The evaluation team will be responsible for evaluating training<br />

equivalencies acceptable to the <strong>department</strong>.<br />
