ALL HAZARDS REPORTING PROCEDURES<br />

In compliance with FY 00 Cooperative Agreements CA-4, we are required to report all hazards that occur<br />

quarterly in our county. This also serves as the foundation for hazard mitigation and emergency preparedness<br />

actions. Listed below, is a basic guideline for reports.<br />

HAZARDOUS MATERIAL SPILLS/RELEASE:<br />

At a PST-exempt facility 25 gal. Enough to form sheen<br />

All others 25 gal. Enough to form sheen<br />

Oil other than crude oil, used oil<br />

Or petroleum product 25 gal. Enough to form sheen<br />

Other items to Report:<br />

v All Blowouts or Fires associated with oil, gas and geothermal activities.<br />

v All Fires associated with a hazardous material.<br />

v All gas or liquid pipelines breaks or ruptures.<br />

v Any release of hydrogen sulfide gas.<br />

v Any incident resulting in injury, death or property (or potential) damage from gas or liquid pipelines.<br />

v Outdoor Burning of hazardous material.<br />

v Illegal dumping of hazardous waste.<br />

v Transportation Accidents involving hazardous material (not to include maintenance fluids i.e. transmission,<br />

brake, etc; with exception of diesel/gas – use 25 gal rule).<br />

v All Airplane incidents/crashes.<br />

v Any Severe Weather to include flooding, hail, damaging winds of 50+ mph, funnel clouds, tornado, water on<br />

roads.<br />

IF AT ANY TIME, YOU ARE IN DOUBT ABOUT REPORTING INCIDENTS, PLEASE COMPLETE REPORT<br />

AND DELIVER TO EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT!<br />
