Sampling<br />

Simple Random Sampling (SRS) has been adopted in interviewing tourists from across the State. 1.05 lakh<br />

foreign and domestic tourists were interviewed during the survey period.<br />

The final report on the study and the findings of the CTS for the period from May 2004 to April 2007<br />

Accommodation<br />

<strong>Kerala</strong> has in 2005, 247 classified hotels with 8166 rooms, which increased from 204 hotels and 7011<br />

rooms in 2004. During the year 2005, it has registered an increase of 21% in the number of hotels and<br />

16% in rooms.<br />
