11.1.5 Source of Information about <strong>Kerala</strong><br />

Data analysis shows that use of web is the favourite source of information about <strong>Kerala</strong>, as it has increased<br />

from 30% in 2004-05 to 41.6 % in 2005-06 and to 56% in 2006-07. The average for the 3 years was 43.7%.<br />

The tour agents also play a very important role in imparting information to the foreign tourists. Table<br />

11.1.5 gives the percentage distribution of tourists according to use of sources of information.<br />
