PROMOTION AND PUBLICITY<br />

The Department of <strong>Tourism</strong> has undertaken various innovative initiatives in the areas of promotion<br />

and publicity. The result is evident from the very high growth rate of tourist arrivals to <strong>Kerala</strong>. The<br />

major initiatives of these promotions include conducting fairs and festivals, participating in major<br />

tourism marts, advertising in print and electronic media etc. The following are some of the<br />

International and National festivals and fairs at which the Department of <strong>Tourism</strong>, <strong>Kerala</strong> has<br />
