Ayurvedic <strong>Tourism</strong>:<br />

Ayurveda evolved around 600 BC in India. It believes in the treatment of not just the affected part, but<br />

the individual as a whole. Making it the natural way to rejuvenate yourself, eliminate all toxic imbalances<br />

from the body and thus regain resistance and good health.<br />

<strong>Kerala</strong>’s equable climate, natural abundance of forests and the cool monsoon season (June-November)<br />

are best suited for Ayurvedic curative and restorative packages. <strong>Kerala</strong> is the only State in India which<br />

practices this system of medicine with absolute dedication.<br />

Detailed analysis of the foreign and domestic non-Keralite tourist trips visiting Ayurveda Centres were<br />

analysed. Significant characteristics are presented as follows:<br />
