Step 11: Verify System’s Basic Functions<br />

➤ Follow the instructions in the Stratagy ES <strong>Installation</strong> and Maintenance <strong>Manual</strong>, Chapter 2 –<br />

<strong>Installation</strong> to verify that the Stratagy ES’s basic functions are working.<br />

Step 12: Check Stratagy ES Components Screen<br />

1. Click Stratagy ES Components icon. The Stratagy ES Components screen displays.<br />

2. Click Resource. Check that the TTSTextTalk is listed on the screen.<br />

Step 13: Verify E-mail Password Added to Message<br />

Configuration<br />

➤ You should verify that the e-mail password has been entered on the Stratagy ES Message<br />

Configuration screen. Without the password, the e-mail TTS feature does not function. See<br />

“Configure Stratagy ES Proprietary Outlook Form” on page 9-10 for details.<br />

Step 14: Verify E-mail Settings in Mailbox Editor<br />

➤ You should verify that the POP3 server and Email play back fields on the Unified Messaging<br />

Tab Screen (Mailbox Editor) have been configured with the proper e-mail settings. See<br />

“Unified Messaging” on page 6-42 for details.<br />

Step 15: (Optional) Change Playback Order<br />

➤ To modify the TTS playback order<br />

Modify the system parameter setting shown in the table below. See “Modify System Parameters”<br />

on page 5-27 for instructions on modifying the settings for these TTS parameter.<br />

System wide setting that determines the order in which the SES selects<br />

email messages to be read to users via the TTS feature group. The possible<br />

settings are:<br />

0 = FIFO First In, First Out (Default)<br />

1 = LIFO Last In, Last Out<br />
