Voice and Resource Board <strong>Installation</strong><br />

T1 Voice Boards<br />

Note<br />

The connectors can only fit together one way. If the connector does not go on easily, turn it<br />

around.<br />

6. Attach the cable to the next board(s). If the cable has extra connectors or loose cable, tuck the<br />

cable down and out of the way.<br />

Note<br />

Both ends of the cable must be used. Connectors between boards do not have to be<br />

connected.<br />

7. If this is a new Stratagy ES installation, go to Step 3: Complete Stratagy ES Hardware Setup<br />

on page 2-8 to continue the system installation procedure<br />

...or if you are adding a new board(s) to an existing system, proceed to “Configure Antares<br />

Board for ASR” on page 13-30 or “Configure Antares Board for ASR” on page 13-30 to<br />

configure the board(s) you just added.<br />

T1 Voice Boards<br />

The following T1 boards are available for installation in the Stratagy ES:<br />

• Dialogic SingleSpan boards (D/240SC-T1, D/240PCI-T1) providing 24 voice ports.<br />

• Dialogic DualSpan board (D/480SC-2T1) providing 48 voice ports.<br />

D/240SC-T1 Voice Board<br />

The D/240SC-T1 (see Figure 13-18 and Table 13-7) supports up to 24 voice ports, has a 120-Ohm<br />

end connector and installs in an ISA bus slot.<br />
