Board Installation
This chapter covers the installation and configuration of Dialogic peripheral boards. The following
voice boards are available for installation in the Stratagy ES:
• ProLine/2V
• Dialog/4
• D/160SC-LS
• D/41ESC
• GammaLink Fax
• Antares
• D/240SC-T1
• D/240PCI-T1
• D/480SC-2T1
CAUTION!
Due to conflicts with the IRQ settings, the ProLine/2V and Dialog/4 voice
boards should not be included in the same Stratagy ES system with the SCSA
compatible voice boards (i.e., D/160SC-LS, D/41ESC).
Depending on the Stratagy ES’s hardware configuration, you may need one or more of the
following procedures. (For a diagram showing how to install the voice boards, see Figure 2-4 on
page 2-6 and Figure 2-3 on page 2-6.)
Note
It is recommended that the voice boards start at the D0000 memory address.
CAUTION!
Electrostatic discharge can damage or destroy the components in the server.
Before starting this procedure, use an anti-static wrist strap to discharge any
static electricity you may be carrying.
