Stratagy ES Standalone Models<br />

Step 2: Start Dialogic Voice Board<br />

1. From Windows NT, click Start > Programs > Dialogic<br />

System Software > Dialogic Configuration (DCM). The<br />

Dialogic Configuration Manager screen displays (shown at<br />

right).<br />

2. Verify that the Dialogic program is running (shown at<br />

bottom of the screen). If the service is stopped, click the<br />

Start button on the toolbar.<br />

3. Click File > Exit. The Dialogic Configuration Manager<br />

screen closes.<br />

Step 3: Access PBXpert/32<br />

1. From Windows NT, click Start > Programs > Dialogic System Software > PBXpert/32. The<br />

PBXpert/32 Wizard Welcome screen displays.<br />

2. Click Next and continue using the PBXpert/32 Wizard program. See “Define Tone Patterns<br />

Using PBXpert Wizard” on page 18-3.<br />

...or click Cancel and use the PBXpert/32 Main screen.<br />

If you do not want the Wizard program every time you start PBXpert/32, check the “Don’t<br />

run wizard at startup” before clicking Cancel.<br />

Step 4: Exit PBXpert/32<br />

➤ From PBXpert/32, click File > Exit. The screen closes.<br />

Define Tone Patterns Using PBXpert Wizard<br />

Step 1: Close Active TSFs<br />

You should always close the active TSF before using the Wizard. If a TSF is active when you use<br />

PBXpert/32 Wizard, the following happens:<br />

• The TAPI information in the consolidated tone set may be overwritten.<br />

• The new tone set is included in the consolidated tone set.<br />

• The new tone set is added to the active TSF.<br />

• Depending on the tone sets marked for consolidation, it may not be possible to successfully<br />

consolidate and test the new tone set using the Wizard.<br />

Step 2: Run PBXpert/32 Wizard<br />

1. From Windows NT, click Start > Programs > Dialogic System Software > PBXpert/32<br />

...or if the Welcome screen has been turned off, click Tones from PBXpert/32’s Main menu and<br />

select Tone Wizard. The Welcome screen displays.<br />

2. Click Next and follow the step-by-step instructions on the screens.<br />

Note<br />

Stratagy ES does not support TAPI dialing codes, select None in the TAPI information<br />

page.<br />
