Step 3: Shut Down Strata CTX

Chapter 8 – Services in the Strata CTX Programming Manual for instructions.
6. Set all CTX voice mail ports as SMDI integration.

Step 3: Shut Down Strata CTX
➤ Turn off the main power switch to the Strata CTX system.
Step 4: Install iES32
CAUTION!
See cautions under Step 1 on page 3-1 before proceeding.
1. Locate the proper slot for the iES32. (See tables below.)
2. Insert the card into the appropriate slot, and apply firm, even pressure to ensure proper mating
of connectors.
CAUTION!
Strata CTX100
Do not hit the board for proper seating. This can damage the iES32 components.
There are four slots (S101~S104) in the base cabinet and four slots (S105~S108) in the expansion
cabinet available for use by the iES32. The following figure and table gives you the information on
the number of ports available for installation in each slot.
