Important!<br />

If you have a long wait when trying to login remotely to the Stratagy ES PC, check to<br />

see if the PC you are trying to connect with has the Windows screen saver set to an<br />

OpenGL type. Open GL savers can take 100% of the CPU time when activated and<br />

will increase the wait time dramatically for anyone trying to login to the PC<br />

remotely.<br />

Step 1: Set Stratagy ES as Host<br />

1. From Windows NT, click Start, then highlight Programs. The Programs drop-down menu<br />

displays.<br />

2. Highlight pcANYWHERE32 and from<br />

the drop-down menu, click<br />

pcANYWHERE. The pcANYWHERE<br />

screen displays (shown at right).<br />

3. Click Be A Host PC.<br />

4. Double-click the Modem icon. The<br />

Stratagy ES Server is now waiting for<br />

connection.<br />

Step 2: From Host System, Remotely Connect to Stratagy ES<br />

1. From Windows NT, click Start, then highlight Programs. The Programs drop-down menu<br />

displays.<br />

2. Highlight pcANYWHERE32 and from the drop-down menu, click pcANYWHERE. The<br />

pcANYWHERE screen displays (shown above).<br />

3. Click Remote Control, then double-click the Modem icon. The program prompts you to enter<br />

the modem phone number.<br />

4. Enter the dialing number assigned at RSTU for the Stratagy ES system. The Remote PC is now<br />

able to operate the Stratagy ES Administration program on the Stratagy ES.<br />

Step 3: Access Stratagy ES from Remote PC<br />

1. From Windows NT, click on Stratagy ES Administration icon<br />

...or select Start > Programs > Stratagy Enterprise Server Administration. The Stratagy Login<br />

screen displays.<br />

2. Type the computer’s ID (address of the server). Press Tab.<br />

3. Type the User Name (default is Stratagy) in the User Name field. Press Tab.<br />

4. Type the password (default is Stratagy) in the Password field. Click OK. The Stratagy ES<br />

Administration Main Menu displays.<br />

5. To exit Stratagy ES Administration, click Admin then Exit.<br />
