...or Apply. Clicking OK saves the changes and closes the screen, whereas clicking Apply saves<br />

the changes but does not close the screen. A dialog box displays.<br />

6. Click Yes. The changes are added to the Stratagy ES database the next time Stratagy ES service<br />

is shutdown and restarted.<br />

Add or Delete Switch Type<br />

1. From the Switch Type drop-down menu,<br />

select the <br />

option. The Create/Save/Delete Switch Type<br />

screen displays (shown at right).<br />

2. Add Switch Type: Type the name for the new<br />

switch type and click OK. The new switch<br />

type is saved with the settings that appear on<br />

the screen at the time it is saved. The name is<br />

added to the drop-down menu for the Switch<br />

Type field.<br />

...or to delete Switch Type: From the Switch Type field, select the switch type that you want to<br />

delete. Click Delete. A dialog box asks you to confirm the deletion. Click Yes. The Telephone<br />

System Integration screen displays without the deleted group in the Switch Type drop-down<br />

box.<br />

PBXpert/32<br />

PBXpert/32 defines the tone patterns for the Stratagy ES. This program enables the Stratagy to<br />

“learn” the tone patterns that define ringing, busy, hang up, and reorder.<br />

Note The tone patterns for the <strong>Toshiba</strong> DK424 telephone system is automatically defined during<br />

setup. Use PBXpert/32 only when initially configuring non-<strong>Toshiba</strong> telephone systems.<br />

See “PBXpert/32” on page 18-1 for instructions on defining a tone pattern.<br />
