Voice and Resource Board Installation
D/41ESC Voice Board
Note
The connectors can only fit together one way. If the connector does not go on easily, turn it
around (the side of the cable with the red stripe must face towards the middle of the board
– see Figure 13-11).
6. Attach the cable to the next board(s). If the cable has extra connectors or loose cable, tuck the
cable down and out of the way.
Note Both ends of the cable must be used. Connectors between boards do not have to be
connected.
7. Repeat this procedure for each D/160SC-LS board you are installing.
8. If this is a new Stratagy ES installation, go to Step 3: Complete Stratagy ES Hardware Setup
on page 2-8 to continue the system installation procedure
...or if you are adding a new board(s) to an existing system, proceed to “Configure D/160SC-
LS and D/41ESC Voice Boards” on page 13-26 to configure the board(s) you just added.
D/41ESC Voice Board
The D/41ESC voice board (see Figure 13-8 and Table 13-4) provides up to four voice ports and has
a SCbus interface for connecting GammaLink Fax and/or Antares boards. RJ11C connectors and
cables must be used to access the channels.
