Stratagy ES Software Recovery
Step 2: Verify/modify COM Port Settings
1. From Windows NT, click Start > Settings > Control
Panel > Ports. The Ports screen displays (shown at
right).
2. Click Settings. The Settings for COM1 screen
displays (shown at right). The settings on your
screen must be the same as those in this screen.
Modify settings as needed.

3. Click Advanced. The Advanced Settings for
COM1 screen displays (shown at right). The
settings on your screen must be the same as
those in this screen. Modify settings as
needed. Click OK twice. The Ports screen
displays again.
4. Highlight COM2 and repeat Substep 2 above
for COM2.
5. Click Advanced. The Advanced Settings for
COM2 screen displays (shown at right). The
settings on your screen must be the same as
those in this screen. Modify settings as
needed. Click OK twice. The Ports screen
displays.
6. Highlight COM3 and repeat Substep 2 above
for COM3.
7. Click Advanced. The Advanced Settings for
COM3 screen displays (shown at right). The
settings on your screen must be the same as
those in this screen. Modify settings as
needed. Click OK twice. The Ports screen
displays.
8. Click Close. The Control Panel screen
displays.
9. Close the Control Panel screen.
10. (Optional) You must now reboot if you made any changes to the settings. Click Start > Shut
Down > Shut Down again. Click OK. Stratagy ES reboots with the new settings.
