QuICK overvIew<br />
<strong>Hydro</strong> is a fully integrated, leading worldwide supplier of alumina,<br />
primary aluminium, aluminium casthouse products and fabricated<br />
aluminium products.<br />
We have substantial interests in bauxite and alumina including one<br />
of the world’s largest bauxite mines and the world’s largest and<br />
one of the most cost efficient alumina refineries, both located in<br />
Brazil. We operate or are partners in modern, cost-efficient primary<br />
metal production facilities in Europe, Canada, Australia, Brazil and<br />
Qatar, and in flexible remelting plants in a range of countries in<br />
Europe, the U.S. and Asia.<br />
We are an industry leader for a range of downstream products and<br />
markets, in particular the building, packaging, lithographic and<br />
automotive sectors. We supply high-quality, value-added<br />
aluminium products and solutions, and have strong positions in<br />
markets that provide opportunities for good financial returns.<br />
With more than 100 years of experience in hydropower, <strong>Hydro</strong> is<br />
the second-largest power producer in Norway, and the largest<br />
privately owned producer.
