CUMULATIVE ANALYSISdisadvantage of Apperson Quarry due to high startup and operating costs (as a hard rock quarryrequiring blasting) and greater distance from markets than the Sunol Valley quarries, it is unlikelythat the Apperson Quarry will commence operations while the Sunol Valley quarries areoperating at sufficient capacity to meet market demands.
