IV. MITIGATION MEASURESI. AESTHETICS1.0 MITIGATION MEASURES PROPOSED AS PART OF THE PROJECT1. In implementing any <strong>Management</strong> <strong>Plan</strong> management action that could result in significantphysical effects on aesthetic quality through installation of new facilities, as shown inTable III.I-1, ensure all applicable <strong>Management</strong> <strong>Plan</strong> management actions are implementedthat are necessary to reduce the impact to a less than significant level (see Table III.I-1).2. In implementing any <strong>Management</strong> <strong>Plan</strong> management action that could result in significantphysical effects on aesthetics through vegetation clearing activities, as shown inTable III.I-2, ensure all applicable <strong>Management</strong> <strong>Plan</strong> management actions are implementedthat are necessary to reduce the impact to a less than significant level (see Table III.I-2).3. In implementing any <strong>Management</strong> <strong>Plan</strong> management action that could result in significantphysical effects on aesthetics through increased public access and use, as shown inTable III.I-3, ensure all applicable <strong>Management</strong> <strong>Plan</strong> management actions are implementedthat are necessary to reduce the impact to a less than significant level (see Table III.I-3).J. TRANSPORTATION AND ACCESS1.0 MITIGATION MEASURES PROPOSED AS PART OF THE PROJECTNone.2.0 MITIGATION MEASURES IDENTIFIED IN THIS REPORTThe following measure addresses potential hazardous conditions related to the lack of parking atthe proposed Sunol Valley facilities:1. As part of the design of the new public facilities, include a parking plan developed incoordination with <strong>Alameda</strong> County to provide sufficient parking spaces to avoidunacceptable vehicle/pedestrian hazard. In addition, the <strong>SFPUC</strong> will monitor the areasurrounding new public facilities and report illegal parking to the <strong>Alameda</strong> CountySheriff’s Department for enforcement.Implementation of this mitigation measure would reduce significant impacts from the lack ofparking at the proposed Sunol Valley recreational facilities to a less than significant level.K.
