Besides her husband, she leaves a son and two daughters; a brother; twograndchildren. Born in Torrington7-31-1965, a daughter <strong>of</strong> Daniel and Jacqueline (Bumps) Sheehan, she lived in <strong>Burlington</strong> thepast six years. In addition to her parents, she is survived by a sister, Kerry <strong>of</strong> <strong>Burlington</strong>; hermaternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. George Bumps <strong>of</strong> <strong>Burlington</strong>. Burial in Center Cemetery,<strong>Burlington</strong>, CT. Collen was diagnosed in February 198? as having lymphoblastic leukemia, andfriends and neighbors helped raise funds to send her to Seattle, WA for a rare bone marrowtransplant. Her family was told her only chance was this transplant. Her 16 year old sisterColleen was the donor. The families expenses are expected to mount far beyond the estimated$150,000 to $200,000 cost <strong>of</strong> the treatment. It is a disease in which healthy blood cells arereplaced by cancer cells, causing bleeding, anemia and susceptibility to infection.SHEPHERD, ALICE, widow <strong>of</strong> Benjamin, died 7-25-1932. Carl graduated from the University <strong>of</strong>Scranton in 1957 and Temple University School <strong>of</strong> Dentistry in 1961. After two years in the Navyhe practiced dentistry in New Britain from 1962 until 1995. He enjoyed retirement, writingarticles for national fly fishing and writing history articles for the local papers. He was a skillfulphotographer who gave slide shows about history and fishing. Besides his devoted wife <strong>of</strong> 47years, he is survived by his three sons and their wives, Stephen and Ann Sieracki <strong>of</strong> Hockessin,DE, Carl and Lori Sieracki <strong>of</strong> Manitowoc, WI, and Christian and Margot Sieracki <strong>of</strong> Edgecomb,ME; his five grandchildren, Sarah and Rebecca Sieracki <strong>of</strong> Bridgeton, NJ, Elise and ClaireSieracki <strong>of</strong> Manitowoc, WI, and David Sieracki <strong>of</strong> Edgecomb, ME; his sister, Eleanor Yurchak <strong>of</strong>Orchard Park, NY; and his brother, Edward Sieracki <strong>of</strong> Aberdeen, MD.
