He was born 3-5-1913 in <strong>Burlington</strong>, son <strong>of</strong> the late William and Clara (Schwarzmann) and lived in <strong>Burlington</strong>most <strong>of</strong> his life prior to moving to Collinsville 20 years ago. He was employed at the CollinsCompany in Collinsville for 30 years. He was a charter member and treasurer <strong>of</strong> the <strong>Burlington</strong>Volunteer Fire Department, a member and served as treasurer <strong>of</strong> the <strong>Burlington</strong> Men's Club.Besides his wife, he is survived by a son William J. Jr. and a daughter, Barbara C.Wollmann,both <strong>of</strong> <strong>Burlington</strong>; a stepson, Robert Sisson <strong>of</strong> Forestville; a stepdaughter, Paula Friez <strong>of</strong>Hebron; a brother, Clarence G. <strong>of</strong> <strong>Burlington</strong>. Bill was the manager <strong>of</strong> Quinoco Inc. in Torrington for more than 20 years. He was aformer member <strong>of</strong> the <strong>Burlington</strong> Volunteer Fire Department and the <strong>Burlington</strong> Men's Club.Besides his wife, he is survived by his three children and their spouses, Douglas W. andPamela J.
