He lived all his life on the same farm whichhas been in the family for several generations, although the present residence was built in1865. In 1869 he married Miss Sarah Frisbie <strong>of</strong> Unionville, who survives him, together with oneson Charles and a daughter Parthenia. Mrs.Norton was the widow <strong>of</strong> Luther S.Norton. She was born in New Hartford, 10-11-1848, theyoungest child, <strong>of</strong> five, <strong>of</strong> Gad Frisbie. She was left an orphan at an early age, being brought upby her uncle, Solomon Richards <strong>of</strong> Unionville. She was married 9-7-1869, and after nearly 40years <strong>of</strong> wedded life, followed her husband, who died seven weeks earlier, into the blessed landfrom whence they shall go no more out forever.
