Kenneth and Ethel's 67th wedding anniversary would havebeen today (Saturday). He was born in Naugatuck on April 7, 1918 and moved to <strong>Burlington</strong> atan early age and has lived there ever since. He attended <strong>Burlington</strong> schools, was a member <strong>of</strong>the <strong>Burlington</strong> Senior Citizens and also an honorary member <strong>of</strong> the <strong>Burlington</strong> Volunteer FireDepartment since 1964. He was employed by the former New Departure Hyatt division <strong>of</strong>General Motors, having retired in 1974 after 38 years <strong>of</strong> service. In addition to his wife, Ethel, heis survived by two sons and daughters-in-Iaw, Phillip R. and Theresa S. Case <strong>of</strong> Bristol, DennisR. and Elizabeth A. Case <strong>of</strong> <strong>Burlington</strong>; a daughter and son-in-Iaw, Patricia A. and Roland J.Lamothe <strong>of</strong> Bristol; a daughter-in-Iaw, Carol A. Case <strong>of</strong> Bristol; nine grandchildren; 14 greatgrandchildren;several nieces and nephews. He was pre-deceased by his oldest son, KennethA. Case. He was manager <strong>of</strong> Cassille's Sausage Shop, Plainville, until 1978,when he opened Cassille's <strong>Burlington</strong> Pizza Restaurant near corner <strong>of</strong> Route 69 and Route 4.Later in 1993 he opened a new restaurant further down on Route 4, larger than the other, andwith an expanded menu. Today Cassille's has a beautiful gray block building in a lovely greensetting. It’s still a family business with mother and son running it, Ted Jr. taking over where hisdad left <strong>of</strong>f. In addition to his wife and mother, he is survived by his son and daughter-in-law,Theodore and Linda Cassille Jr. <strong>of</strong> Plainville, a sister, Joanne McMahon <strong>of</strong> Bristol; threegrandchildren. Mr. Ceder came with his family from New York in 1912. Inrecent years he has spent much <strong>of</strong> his time in New York.
