When installed close to an actuator, thevalve can stop runaway in the event of hose burst. Thevalves also give dual thermal and overload reliefprotection.A low pressure tank or charge line may be connectedto the T port to provide a make-up flow to eitheractuator port.FEATURESThis valve provides complete circuit control and protectionas with the standard motion control valve but has theaddition of a brake release shuttle and brake portcontained in a single body.SPECIFICATIONSFigures based on: Oil Temp = 40°C Viscosity = 40 cStOPERATIONThe check section allows free flow into the actuatorthen holds and locks the load against movement. Thepilot assisted relief valve section will give controlledmovement when pilot pressure is applied. The reliefsection is normally set to open at a pressure at least1.3 times the maximum load induced pressure but thepressure required to open the valve and allowmovement depends on the pilot ratio of the valve.
