Typical usesinclude the control of actuator speed by regulating theflow into or out of the actuator (meter-in or meter-out).The flow (and actuator speed) will be largelyindependent of the load and the pressure conditions. Zinc plated body.Standard aluminium (up to 210 bar*)Add suffix ‘377’ for steel option.OPERATIONFlow into the inlet of the valve passes through theadjustable orifice and out of the regulated port. Thepressure drop across the orifice is sensed on theregulating sleeve and produces a force which, at therequired flow rate, overcomes the spring force. Theresultant movement of the sleeve regulates the flow byclosing the radial valve ports.The inbuilt check allows free return of flow (2 to 1).FEATURESCartridge construction gives versatility of applications.A valve may be fitted into a line body, a customdesigned Hydraulic Integrated Circuit or directly into acylinder or other actuator.
