There are manyapplications for this valve type, the most commonbeing to lock and hold a cylinder, or another hydraulicactuator, in position.The 4CK300 cartridge valve is ideally suited for fittingdirectly into a cylinder, giving economy of installation,direct control of cylinder movement and ease ofservicing.OPERATIONPressure on the valve port causes the poppet to liftagainst the spring force, allowing flow to the cylinderport. Reverse flow is prevented by the check reseating.Pressure applied to the pilot port will overcome thecylinder port pressure and lift the poppet from its seat,allowing return flow.PRESSURE DROP24FLOW-US GPM0 25 5075100350FEATURESHardened and ground poppet gives excellent flowcapability, positive sealing and long working life. The largerseat diameter restricts the pilot ratio to 3:1. Cartridgeconstruction allows installation in actuators, manifoldblocks and Hydraulic Integrated Circuits. Versions withsealed pilot pistons are available. Fits the same cavity asthe 1CE300 overcentre valve.
