A typical use is thespeed control of cylinders or other actuators. (Forpressure compensated flow control valves see Section9). The fine adjustment and complete shut-off allowthe valves to be used for snubbing pressure gaugesand for use as shut-off valves.OPERATIONRotation of the adjustment screw varies the valveopening to give a flow path approximately proportionalto the turns of the screw.FEATURESAll steel construction with hardened and groundadjustment needle.
