There are manyapplications for this valve type, the most commonbeing to lock and hold a cylinder, or another hydraulicactuator, in position.The 4CK90 is a small cartridge valve is ideally suitedfor fitting directly into a cylinder, giving economy ofinstallation, direct control of cylinder movement andease of servicing.OPERATIONPressure on the valve port causes the poppet to liftagainst the spring force, allowing the flow to thecylinder port. Reverse flow is prevented by the poppetreseating.
