Legacies are left to <strong>the</strong> executors, to Catharine Webster,wife <strong>of</strong> John Webster ; to <strong>the</strong> five daughters <strong>of</strong> George Webster, deceased, bro<strong>the</strong>r to<strong>the</strong> testator ; to 1 'oetor Thomas Webster, his bro<strong>the</strong>r ; to James Webster <strong>Wedderburn</strong>(son <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> said David <strong>Wedderburn</strong>) on his attaining 21 ; to Charles <strong>Wedderburn</strong> <strong>of</strong>Pearsie, and his wife Ann Read ; to Elizabeth <strong>Wedderburn</strong>, wife <strong>of</strong> James Graham <strong>of</strong>Balmuir ; to Ca<strong>the</strong>rine <strong>Wedderburn</strong>, wife <strong>of</strong> Robert Stewart <strong>of</strong> Dundee ; to Isabella<strong>Wedderburn</strong>, wife <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> Rev. James Stormonth <strong>of</strong> Airly. <strong>The</strong> testator bequeaths toDavid <strong>Wedderburn</strong> various sums <strong>of</strong> money, <strong>the</strong> leasehold houses in Leadenhall Streetand at Clapham, and o<strong>the</strong>r property, on condition that he and his issue male shallimmediately on <strong>the</strong> death <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> said James Webster take <strong>the</strong> surname <strong>of</strong> Websteronly, in lieu and stead <strong>of</strong> <strong>Wedderburn</strong>, and shall forthwith obtain a royal or legallicense so to do. Fur<strong>the</strong>r legacies are made to Sir John <strong>Wedderburn</strong>, Louisa I loro<strong>the</strong>aAVedderburn, his daughter, .lames <strong>Wedderburn</strong> <strong>of</strong> Inveresk, and James <strong>Wedderburn</strong><strong>of</strong> Trelawuy, Jamai<strong>ca</strong>. A sum <strong>of</strong> £6,000 is also left (after all o<strong>the</strong>r legacies are paid)for founding an a<strong>ca</strong>demy for 30 boys <strong>of</strong> twelve to sixteen and 35 girls in Dundee,where <strong>the</strong> testator was born.
