Nov. 12 (and 1626, Feb. 25).—Discharge by Robert Carnegy <strong>of</strong> Leuchland,and Marjory <strong>Wedderburn</strong>e his spouse to Mr. Alexander <strong>Wedderburn</strong> elder, clerk <strong>of</strong>Dundee, and fa<strong>the</strong>r <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> said Marjory, for <strong>the</strong> sum <strong>of</strong> 8000 merks tocher due byvirtue <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong>ir marriage contract dated 7 Jau. 1625, and received in satisfaction <strong>of</strong> alegacy <strong>of</strong> 2000 meiks left to <strong>the</strong> said Marjorie by <strong>the</strong> late Eufame Ramsay, Lady <strong>of</strong>Keillour, and ano<strong>the</strong>r legacy <strong>of</strong> 500 merks left her by <strong>the</strong> late Mr. George Halyburton<strong>of</strong> Keillour, and also <strong>of</strong> all <strong>the</strong> said Marjory might claim by <strong>the</strong> decease <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> lateHelen Ramsay, her mo<strong>the</strong>r.
