July 4.—Act and factory on petition by Alexander, son of David Hunter, &c,creditors of Mr. William Gray of Inverichty (ante Nos. 1 57-58), to have Robert Wedderburn,writer in Forfar, son of Sir Alexander Wedderburn of Blackness, appointedtheir factor in place of the lately deceased Thomas Traill. John Auchinlek, for non-payment of a certain sum, in satisfaction ofwhich the pursuer craves to have adjudged to him a tenement in Dundee oncebelonging to Robert Stratoun and bounded by the lands of the late AlexanderWedderburn of Kingennie, and also another tenement there once belonging to thelate Peter Wedderburn and Helen Lovit his spouse, and disponed by them to the lateSir Alexander Wedderburn of Blackness, Knt., from whom it was acquired by ThomasButchart. SirAlexander Wedderburn of Blackness, touching the production by him of a disposition(31 Oct. 1718), by Peter Wedderburn. son of Alexander Wedderburn of EasterPowrie, to the defender (therein designed sheriff clerk of Forfar) of an @-rent out ofa property of the pursuer in Dundee. Among the writs produced is a cognition bythe bailies of Dundee in favour of Alexander Wedderburn of Easter Powrie, as heirto Alexander Wedderburn, mariner, burgess of Dundee, and Elizabeth Wedderburn,his daughter, containing sasine of the said @-rent, dated 12 Oct. 1676. William Guthrie of Easter Clepington and others, charging the defenders withabstracting the multures of Baldovan.
