May 15.—Sasine on Great Seal charter in favour <strong>of</strong> William Kyd <strong>of</strong> Wood-Sasines.j.^^ U p 0n resignation by Patrick Kyd <strong>of</strong> Grange <strong>of</strong> Barrie, <strong>of</strong> certain parts <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong>lands <strong>of</strong> Craigie, subject to certain life-interests <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> said Patrick Kyd and Margaret<strong>Wedderburn</strong>, his wife, and providing that if <strong>the</strong> said Patrick ever have a son, part <strong>of</strong><strong>the</strong> lands shall be redeemable by payment <strong>of</strong> one rosnoble <strong>of</strong> gold, and if he havedaughters, <strong>the</strong>y shall be chargeable with provision for <strong>the</strong>m. In event <strong>of</strong> his deathwithout issue <strong>the</strong> lands are burdened with legacies, including 5,000 merks to John <strong>Wedderburn</strong>,fiar <strong>of</strong> Blackness, and £1,000 to Alexander <strong>Wedderburn</strong> <strong>of</strong> Kingenny.
