(Mac. 261.)Of <strong>the</strong> persons named in this will Mr. Hugh Fraser and his sister were, I believe, <strong>the</strong> children <strong>of</strong>Mary Dunbar, maternal aunt to <strong>the</strong> testatrix, who m. Robert Fraser <strong>of</strong> Torbuch, though possibly<strong>the</strong>y were relatives <strong>of</strong> her grandmo<strong>the</strong>r, who was also a Fraser. Mrs. Dunbar <strong>of</strong> Serabeter was <strong>the</strong>second wife and now widow <strong>of</strong> Thomas Dunbar, maternal uncle to <strong>the</strong> testatrix, while Mrs. Moodieand Mrs. Nicolson were his two daughters by his first marriage, viz. : Elizabeth who m. James Moodie<strong>of</strong> Melsetter, and Mary Maxwell who m. <strong>the</strong> Rev. Patrick Nicolson <strong>of</strong> Shaerter. Mr. <strong>Wedderburn</strong> <strong>of</strong>Inveresk is <strong>of</strong> course, James <strong>Wedderburn</strong> (or Colvile) whose daughter Jean. b. 1786, m. in 1807 Thomas,fifth Earl <strong>of</strong> Selkirk. <strong>The</strong> two bro<strong>the</strong>rs referred to are John <strong>Wedderburn</strong> <strong>of</strong> Spring Garden (d. 1820)and James who died, soon after this will, on 17 July 1797.
