Lamb <strong>of</strong> Dundee, has a contemporary extract <strong>of</strong> this sasine (eight pages <strong>of</strong> parchment)noted as registered at Dundee on <strong>the</strong> same day, though I have not found any such record. July 1.— Sasine (27 June) on contract <strong>of</strong> marriage (22 April 1725) betweenJohn <strong>Wedderburn</strong>, eldest son <strong>of</strong> Sir Alexander <strong>Wedderburn</strong> <strong>of</strong> Blackness, and Mrs.Jean Fullarton, eldest lawful daughter <strong>of</strong> John Fullarton <strong>of</strong> Fullarton, whereby SirAlexander <strong>Wedderburn</strong> settled on Jean Fullarton an annuity <strong>of</strong> 1,200 merks during<strong>the</strong> life <strong>of</strong> Dame Catharine Scott, his wife, and <strong>the</strong>reafter an annuity <strong>of</strong> £1,000 out<strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> lands <strong>of</strong> Blackness, ifcc. (xv, 329.)108. 1737- Sept. 29. —John <strong>Wedderburn</strong>, constable depute and bailie in that part, givessasine <strong>of</strong> a house in Dundee to <strong>the</strong> two surviving daughters <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> late Sir JohnGuthrie <strong>of</strong> Westhall, son <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> late Mr. John Guthrie, minister in Dundee, (xv, 347.)109. 1738. April 4.— Sasine on contract <strong>of</strong> marriage (30 Jan.) between Robert <strong>Wedderburn</strong>,writer in Forfar (second lawful son <strong>of</strong> Sir Alexander <strong>Wedderburn</strong> <strong>of</strong> Blackness,Baronet), and Isobel Edward, only daughter <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> deceased David Edward, secondson <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> deceased John Edward <strong>of</strong> Persy, and heir retoured to her uncle <strong>the</strong> lateThomas Edward <strong>of</strong> Persy. By this contract, Robert <strong>Wedderburn</strong> settles an annuity<strong>of</strong> 1,000 merks (or 1,200 if he die s.p.) on his wife, and she settles on him and <strong>the</strong>heirs <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> marriage <strong>the</strong> estate <strong>of</strong> Persy, in <strong>the</strong> parish <strong>of</strong> Kingoldrum and regality<strong>of</strong> Aberbrothock, co.
