Mary's Church in 1454. It also contains various details about <strong>the</strong> church, but seems to havegot into <strong>the</strong> hands <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> town clerk, who used it for <strong>the</strong> Burgh and Head Court Records, 28 Nov.,1520, to 30 August, 1524.I. 1490. David Wedderbum is named as on <strong>the</strong> council. ("Book <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> Church.")2, 1520-21. Dec. 5, 30 ;Jan. 14 ; Feb. 8.—James Wedderbum on assize. Feb. 5.—Elizabeth Wedderbum, wife <strong>of</strong> Alexander Ogilvy, aud relict <strong>of</strong>Alexander Lovell, consents to <strong>the</strong> inventory <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> goods <strong>of</strong> airschip <strong>of</strong> her son,James Lovell ; and James Wedderbum, her bro<strong>the</strong>r, becomes her surety for <strong>the</strong>delivery up <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> goods to <strong>the</strong> heir " at his lauchfull agis."
