——1DOCUMENTS PRESERVED AT THE HERALDS' COLLEGE, LONDON.Heralds' In .Tune 1891 I had a general search made at the Heralds' College in London forPaDefsfauy Wedderburn material preserved there, and in response received the following listof references:Hawker's Index :—Peers, ii. 10 (Record) ; Peers (rough',, i. 159, iii. 131 ; Baronets, ii. 521, 527-28(Record), 8 D. 14, 58-59 (Record) ; I., xxxiii. 280 ; si. 121 ; xli. 194. So far as these facts are obviously within the knowledge of the person signingthe recorded pedigree, they may be said to be legally proved by these documents. Inaddition to these records there are three licenses for a change of surname and arms, afew casual notes, and one or two unrecorded " hearsay " pedigrees of little value. The whole of the material may be classified thus :I.
