ADMINISTRATION6.1 Intent and Application of this SectionThis Section is intended to set out the procedures and obligations of applicants and the<strong>Council</strong> with respect to applications and other matters to which the <strong>Planning</strong> <strong>Scheme</strong>relates.Applications to which this <strong>Planning</strong> <strong>Scheme</strong> relates are not to be lodged except inaccordance with this Section.Some of the provisions of this Section repeat the provisions of Section 4 of the LocalGovernment [planning and Environment] Act in the interests of providing clear guidelinesto applicants. In the event that amendments to the Act create conflict between informationset down in this Section, the Act takes precedence.6.2 Matters Applicable to all ApplicationsAn application made to the <strong>Council</strong> under this Section is to be lodged in the mannerrequired and accompanied by the appropriate fee prescribed in the <strong>Council</strong>'s Schedule ofFees as determined by resolution. The Schedule of Fees may prescribe different fees fordifferent types of applications.All applications are to be :-(4 in writing, addressed to the Chief Executive Officer;@)signed by the applicantk or in the case of a partnership, company, incorporated orunincorporated association or a body corporate, by an authorised officer thereofand under a company seal, where applicable;(c)(d)(elauthorised in writing by the ownerk of the site if the applicant is not the owner;accompanied by the information prescribed under the Regulations to the Actrelating to the particular type of application and, where not specified therein, anaccurate statement of the following :-(i) the name and postal address of the applicant;(ii) the name of the registered proprietor of the site or, if the site is leased fromthe Crown, the registered lessee;(iii) the postal address and real property description of the site;(iv) the area of the site;(v) the length of the road frontage or frontages;(vi) the use being made of the site at the time of malung the application,including details of existing buildings and structures and the use being madethereof;(vii) the nature of the proposal;(viii) circumstances giving rise to the application;(ix) any other information required by the subsequent sub-sections of thisSection or required by the <strong>Council</strong> to enable a full appreciation of theproposal.accompanied by the following where required by this <strong>Planning</strong> <strong>Scheme</strong> and itsprovisions to assist in the implementation of the <strong>Scheme</strong>, a State <strong>Planning</strong> Policy,the <strong>Council</strong> or the Act:-(i) plans of a type specified in the Sub-section relating to the type ofapplication;(ii) an environmental impact statement;(iii) a geotechnical report;(iv) a traffic study;
