-30-Vehicle Repair StationAny premises used or intended for use for the carrying out, either or without servicing, ofrepairs to motor vehicles, including motor cycles, trucks and buses, f m machinery, boatsor motor mowers. The term includes the sale, fitting and maintenance of wheels and tyres,but does not include any panel beating which involves dismantling or spray painting otherthan of a minor touching up character.Veterinary ClinicAny premises used or intended for use in which a veterinary surgeon or veterinarian treatsthe minor ailments of domestic animal and household pet out-patients provided that nopatients remain on the premises overnight, except for emergency cases.Veterinary HospitalAny premises used or intended for use for or in connection with the treatment of sick orinjured animals where such animals are accommodated overnight or for longer periods inpremises constructed of sound proof materials. The term does not include animalhusbandry as herein defined.WarehouseAny premises used or intended for use for the storage of goods, merchandise or materialsin large stocks whether or not such storage is required for an adjoining shop or othercommercial premises. The term includes a milk depot and mini storage facilities.2.3 InterpretationWhere any term used in this <strong>Scheme</strong> is not defined herein but is defined in the Act or in aLocal Law, the term shall, for the purposes of this <strong>Scheme</strong> and unless the contextotherwise indicates or requires, have the meaning assigned to it by the Act or by LocalLaw.The <strong>Council</strong> shall determine any question as to the appropriate definition or classificationor any use or proposed use under this <strong>Scheme</strong>.The <strong>Council</strong> may from time to time determine that a particular use should be re-defined orre-classified, having regard to any change which has occurred to the nature, scale orintensity of the use.Wherever in this <strong>Scheme</strong> reference is made to any Act, Regulation, Australian Standard, toAMCORD, or to a State of Local <strong>Planning</strong> Policy, such reference shall be taken to includea reference to any amending or substituting instrument. The <strong>Council</strong> shall determine anyquestion as to the relevant amending or substituting insbunent.With respect to the Table of Zones in this <strong>Scheme</strong>, the purposes for which development onland, the erection of a building or other structure on land or the use of land -* may be undertalcen or carried out without the <strong>Council</strong>'s Consent in each zone arelisted in Column 1 of the relevant Table of Zones;**may be undertaken or carried out only with the prior Consent of the <strong>Council</strong> ineach zone are listed in Column 2 of the relevant Table of Zones;may not be undertaken or carried out are listed in Column 3 of the relevant Tableof Zones.Where any building or other structure or any land is used or intended for use for more thanone purpose, it shall be deemed for the purposes of this <strong>Scheme</strong> to be used or intended foruse for each of those purposes.
