3.3.16 Conservation Zone- 63 -IntentThe intent of the Conservation zone is to protect biological diversity and maintainecological integrity by protecting natural areas fiom development. This zone appliesto areas of high conservation value and includes areas of important natural vegetationsuch as wetlands and hillslopes, fauna habitat and linkages between natural areas.Land in this zone is to be retained in its natural state and should not be subject to anymodification which reduces its conservation values.
