"Light Industry"Any industry which -(a)(b)(c)(d)does not, in the opinion of the Council, detrimentally affect the amenity ofneighbouring premises due to the emission of noise, vibration, smell,fumes, smoke, vapour, steam, soot, ash, dust, grit, oil or waste products;is conducted only between the hours 7.00 am to 6.00 pm Mondays toFridays, 7.00 am to 4.00 pm on Saturdays and not at all on Sunday andpublic holidays;does not involve the generation of heavy vehicular traffic;does not, in the opinion of the Council, impose any greater load on anypublic utility than that imposed by other uses in the locality in which theindustry is carried on.The term may include but is not limited to industries listed in Appendix 5 provided theycomply with the preceding provisions of this definition.APPENDIX 5Activities listed in Appendix 2 which do not comply with paragraphs (a) and (b) inclusiveof the definition of "commercial services".BookbindingGlass cutting or silvering
