3.3.18 Special Facilities ZoneIntent- 67 -The intent of the Special Facilities zone is to accommodate a particular form ofdevelopment on a particular site, where such development is considered in thecircumstances to be desirable, but where the inclusion of the land within any ofthe other zones may enable an undesirable form of development or a wider rangeof uses than that being considered. It may also be used to permit combinations ofuses which might not otherwise be allowed under the Schedule.
