3.3.15 Sport and Recreation Zone- 61 -IntentThe intent of the Sport and Recreation zone is to provide areas for active sport andrecreational pursuits. This zone provides for playing fields, sporting complexesand other active recreation facilities, including commercial recreationalestablishments. Land within this zone may be publicly or privately owned andaccess by the general public may be restricted or controlled.Sporting clubs using playing fields in this zone will be permitted to establish clubfacilities, subject to appropriate conditions which may relate, among other things,to siting, buffering and landscaping, access and hours of operation.
