Estimatedlosses included 16 breeding Canada goosehabitat units (HU's), 91 black-cappedchickadee HU's, 4,312 river otter HU's,3,524 piliated woodpecker HU's, 11,603elk HU's, and 8,906 white-tailed deerHU's. Gains to wildlife were 323wintering canada goose HU's, 2,678wintering bald eagle HU's, 1,674 ospreyHU's, and 119 yellow warble HU's.Mitigation goals have been recommendedby an interagency Workgroup to replacebig game, old growth, and riverinehabitats losts.
