Estimatedlosses included 16 breeding Canada goosehabitat units (HU's), 91 black-cappedchickadee HU's, 4,312 <strong>river</strong> otter HU's,3,524 piliated woodpecker HU's, 11,603elk HU's, <strong>and</strong> 8,906 white-tailed deerHU's. Gains to <strong>wildlife</strong> were 323wintering canada goose HU's, 2,678wintering bald eagle HU's, 1,674 ospreyHU's, <strong>and</strong> 119 yellow warble HU's.Mitigation goals have been recommendedby an interagency Workgroup to replacebig game, old growth, <strong>and</strong> <strong>river</strong>inehabitats losts.
